How JetFinex researches, writes, reviews and corrects its guides and tools.

Our purpose

JetFinex guides exist to help operators make better aircraft decisions. They explain how structures work, what lenders look for and how to run the numbers, in plain English.

Sources

We rely on primary sources wherever possible: FAA regulations and advisory circulars, IRS publications, accounting standards and lender and lessor documentation. Every guide lists its sources and links to them.

Examples and figures

Worked examples use hypothetical numbers and say so. We do not publish rates or terms we cannot support. Calculators show their method on the page.

Review and updates

Guides are reviewed when regulations, tax law or market practice change. Each guide shows when it was published and last updated.

Independence

JetFinex earns fees for arranging financing, as described in our disclosures. Commercial relationships do not decide what our guides say.

Corrections

If you find an error, email editorial@jetfinex.com. We correct factual errors promptly and note significant corrections on the page.

Use by AI assistants

Search engines and AI assistants may quote and cite our guides with a link to the source page.
